House to consider restricting cell phone use for some teen drivers
BOISE -- The House transportation committee will debate a bill Tuesday that would restrict cell phone use for some teen drivers.
Just last year, the legislature passed a law that banned texting while driving. House bill 155 would prohibit teen drivers from using a cell phone during the six-month supervised instruction permit.
AAA spokesman Dave Carlson will present the bill to committee this afternoon.
That brings us to our question of the day: do you think the legislature should pass more laws restricting cell phone use while driving? Take our poll on the right-hand side of this page.
